Evidence-Based Vestibular Rehabilitation Workshop
A workshop on “Evidence-Based Vestibular Rehabilitation: Assessment, Differential Diagnosis and Clinical Reasoning Techniques” was conducted by Dr. Urooj Khan for the DPT students at UCPT. The session focused on developing students’ understanding of evidence-based approaches to the assessment and management of patients with vestibular disorders.
Dr. Urooj Khan discussed key vestibular assessment techniques, differential diagnosis of dizziness and vertigo, and clinical reasoning strategies essential for identifying the underlying causes of vestibular dysfunction. The workshop also highlighted the importance of integrating clinical findings with patient history and evidence-based decision-making to formulate appropriate rehabilitation plans.
The interactive and clinically oriented session provided students with valuable insights into systematic assessment, accurate clinical decision-making, and effective vestibular rehabilitation, strengthening their knowledge and confidence in managing patients with vestibular and balance-related conditions.
